Job Summary
Casual Community Care Worker needed to support clients in their homes and local communities across Chermside. You will work one-on-one with clients to help them live independently, safely and confidently, performing personal care (hygiene, mobility, meals), domestic tasks (house cleaning, laundry, ironing, meal prep), social and community support, and transport to appointments or shopping. You’ll follow clients’ care plans, report changes in wellbeing to the Coordinator/Case Manager, and contribute ideas to improve services and teamwork. Essential requirements include Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent), a current Australian Driver’s Licence with a comprehensively insured vehicle, proof of COVID-19 vaccination as required, and relevant probity checks. A positive, flexible attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills, and empathy for clients, families, and colleagues are sought, with the role offering flexible hours in a casual capacity across Chermside and surrounds.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
