Job Summary
Care Worker role providing in-home and community-based support across Cleveland, Thornlands and Beaudesert. Responsibilities include assisting clients with personal care, hygiene, showering, mobility, and meals; supporting domestic tasks such as house cleaning, laundry, ironing, and meal prep; offering social and community support and transportation to appointments or shopping; following care plans and reporting changes in wellbeing to the Coordinator/Case Manager; and contributing ideas to improve services and teamwork. Requires Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent), a valid driver’s licence with insured vehicle, and compliance with vaccination and probity checks. This is a casual and permanent part-time community care position in a not-for-profit setting that emphasizes compassionate, inclusive service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination as required
- Relevant probity checks as per legislation and WMQ policy
