Job Summary
Home Care Worker delivering in-home care across the Sutherland region on a permanent part-time basis. Responsibilities include domestic assistance (household chores), meal preparation, personal care (showering, dressing, grooming), social engagement, and transport for appointments and social outings. Requires a valid NSW driver’s licence and access to a NSW C Class vehicle, current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain), and COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (highly recommended). Strong emphasis on compassion, empathy, reliability, and clear communication to support older clients in maintaining independence and dignity.
Required Qualifications
- Essential: Valid NSW Driver’s Licence
- Reliable NSW C Class Motor Vehicle for travel between customer locations
- Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (highly recommended)
- Basic computer and smartphone literacy
- Desirable: Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging, Home, and Community)
