Job Summary
Conduct post-surgical and telemetry care by monitoring vital signs, assisting nursing personnel, and helping patients with basic daily needs. Maintain professional behavior, effective communication, and independence while carrying out detailed written or verbal instructions. This PRN nightshift role requires a dependable, hardworking Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Patient Care Tech, Medical Assistant, Paramedic, EMT, or nursing student with completed Fundamentals of Nursing. A pre-employment drug screening is mandatory for this drug-free facility.
Required Qualifications
- Passing a pre-employment drug screening
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Patient Care Tech, Medical Assistant, Paramedic, EMT, or currently enrolled in a nursing program
- Completion of Fundamentals of Nursing (if enrolled in a nursing program)
- Documentation of nursing program enrollment or certification
- Dependable, hardworking, and a team player with a good attitude and professional behavior
- Ability to effectively communicate and carry out detailed written or verbal instructions independently
