Job Summary
Care Tech in the Cardiac Intervention Unit provides vital signs, assists nursing personnel, and helps patients with basic daily needs. The role supports care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and elective interventional procedures (e.g., PTCA, stent, atherectomy, electrophysiology testing/ablation, electrical cardioversion, pacemaker or AICD implantation) with anticipated short stays. Works within an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient- and family-centered care. This is a full-time position in Mobile, AL, on-site.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant in Alabama, Certified Patient Care Tech, Medical Assistant, Paramedic, EMT, or currently enrolled in a nursing program
- Pre-employment drug screening
- Validation of high school diploma or equivalent
- Fundamentals of Nursing if enrolled in nursing program (requirement)
