Job Summary
Night Care Team Leader role overseeing the health, care and social needs of residents on a shift. You’ll act as the recognised senior carer on the night, lead when staff or residents need help, monitor and review personal care plans, and administer medications. You will supervise, support, coach and develop other team members, liaise with residents, their families and other care professionals, and ensure residents’ needs and wishes remain central to care. You must demonstrate good organisation and staff-management skills, and be able to write/update Care Plans and administer medications. The role requires a Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification (or commitment to working towards it). The position is part-time (approximately 18 hours/week) with a rotating weekend/night schedule (8pm–8am), located at Abbeyfield House, Bramhall, Stockport, UK. Required Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Experience as a carer
- Ability to write and update care plans
- Competence in administration of Medication
