Job Summary

Monitor the health, care, and social needs of residents by preparing, implementing, and reviewing their personal care plans, including administering medication. Supervise, coach, and develop team members while liaising with external parties and residents to ensure their needs remain central to care delivery. Take the lead during emergencies or when staff and residents require immediate assistance. This role involves working as the recognised Senior Carer on shifts at Abbeyfield House, a 16-bed residential care home in Bramhall. The position requires a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent, strong staff management skills, and the ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check.

Required Qualifications

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Two satisfactory employment references
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Experience as a Carer
  • Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Good organisation and staff management skills
  • Competence in writing and updating Care Plans
  • Competence in the administration of Medication

Desired Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (if not yet obtained but committed to working towards it)
