Job Summary
Guide and support the care team on the floor while retaining duties of Caregiver, Trainer, Med Passer, Mentor, and Shift Lead. Create efficient care team schedules using Company-approved software, ensure seamless staff coverage, and proactively manage absences by coordinating with on-call members to fill open shifts. Provide timely updates to CTM, ED, or Weekend Leader regarding shift actions and communicate schedule changes across all mediums. Complete all required training, team meetings, and online learning, ensure shift documentation and action items are addressed, and notify nursing leadership of resident condition changes. Maintain records of time-off requests, approvals, and tardiness. Work regular scheduled hours, including weekends and holidays, with full-time status required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED (per state laws)
- Completion of New Perspective's training for Caregiver, Med Passer, Mentor, and Shift Lead
- Must work regularly scheduled hours (not PRN or Part Time)
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with older adults in senior living, long-term care, or home health preferred
