Job Summary
Manage the PACE Center reception desk and clinic front desk while handling administrative duties to ensure accurate record keeping. Support administrative, clinical, and day center staff with tasks including faxing, scheduling, ordering supplies, and monitoring participant capacity for the day center. Maintain adequate member flow through the clinic and assist with related marketing activities. Requires 7+ years of administrative experience in a medical setting with proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems. Join Empath Health's interdisciplinary PACE team focused on helping older adults remain safe and independent in their homes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 7+ years in administrative, writing, office experience
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Working knowledge of PowerPoint and Access
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare billing or claims
- Data entry and database management using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems or equivalent systems
Desired Qualifications
- PACE knowledge and experience
- A minimum of two (2) years in a medical setting (hospital, clinic, medical office, nursing home, etc.)
- Has worked with the elderly and/or chronically ill
- Experience managing patient schedules and a busy front desk or office environment
