Job Summary
Care Team Assistant role supporting Providers and Medical Assistants; responsibilities include maintaining and preparing exam rooms (clean, sterilize, stock), assisting with scheduling follow-ups and procedures, handling discharge summary requirements, assisting with sensitive exam needs, and ensuring faxing/printing of documents is complete. Requires basic computer skills, customer service ability, independence, and cultural competency to work with a diverse patient population; bilingual ability and EPIC/Microsoft Office proficiency are pluses. On-site position in Evanston, IL, with opportunities for growth within Erie Family Health Centers' Operations team.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred: Associate degree or two years of college a plus.
- Experience: Six months of related healthcare or customer service experience preferred.
- On the job training will be provided for individuals without prior healthcare experience.
