Job Summary
Care Specialist I in Pittsburgh (Hybrid) handles high-volume inbound/outbound service-center calls related to HR inquiries (time-off, payroll, timekeeping) and processes patient and health-plan care requests. You’ll follow up with patients, caregivers, and health plans, maintain data entry in CRMs, conduct status reviews, screen for additional programs, de-escalate dissatisfied callers, and ensure timely, quality service aligned with SLAs. The role requires empathy, active listening, strong communication, and the ability to manage schedules and metrics. Travel to the Pittsburgh office is required three days per week. Nice-to-haves include bilingual abilities and healthcare call-center experience.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Customer Service environment
- At least 1 year of experience in high-volume inbound call center or contact center environment
- Experience with CRMs or Workforce Technology – Salesforce, Medflyt, and Verint
