Job Summary
Care Service Employee providing compassionate, person-centred care to residents at St Vincent’s Care Services Haberfield. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team in a 50-bed aged care facility, with a focus on dementia-aware, holistic care and building meaningful connections. Must have Certificate III in Individual Support / Aged Care (or similar), be able to work AM shifts (0630-1430) Monday to Thursday, and be proficient with computerised care management software (Autumn Care). Responsibilities include following care plans, delivering resident-centred care, collaborating with team members, and contributing to a welcoming, respectful environment. The role is permanent part-time with an emphasis on compassionate engagement, compliance (Criminal History Check, NDIS Worker Screening if required), and alignment with the organisation’s person-centred Heartprint model.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in Individual Support / Certificate III Aged Care or similar qualification essential
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (within 6 months)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement
- Availability to work AM shifts (0630-1430)
- Experience in a similar role desirable
- Ability to use computerised clinical management software such as Autumn Care
- Ability to follow directives as per care plan
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Able to work various shifts - AM and PM
