Job Summary
Welcome and greet clients and visitors, manage building access, and answer or transfer incoming calls while reviewing voicemails daily. Schedule clients for initial appointments, maintain and file program records in electronic and paper medical records, and take payments into deposit logs and EMR systems. Coordinate mail distribution, ensure building aesthetics, and assist with audit compliance and quality assurance activities. Adhere to state and federal privacy regulations including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2. Maintain accurate documentation and support program leads with re-engaging consumers at risk of discharge.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) language competency
- Excellent interpersonal skills (verbal, written)
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Learns technology quickly and can translate easily into lay terms and implementation
- Ability to engage in many projects at once
- Strong understanding of technology systems
- Detail-oriented and knows how to check their own work for errors
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks, set priorities, and follow through on daily tasks in a timely fashion
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally and appropriately
- Fast, accurate documentation skills
- Knowledge of community and social service agencies
- Ability to work effectively with peers, individual clients, and groups
- Ability to maintain accurate records and necessary paperwork
- Demonstration of skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Computer Systems (Internet, Email, MS Word, Excel, SAMMS, CIS, or similar)
