Care Promoter 1, Float is an unlicensed medical professional cross-trained to perform routine administrative and clinical duties to keep medical centers operating. Duties include taking patient vital signs and medical history, preparing patients for exams, assisting with exams, phlebotomy and basic labs, administering medications under physician supervision, maintaining supplies and documentation, processing messages, coordinating prescriptions with pharmacies, and providing health coaching to a defined patient group with weekly follow-ups. Requires teamwork with physicians and clinicians, strong communication, proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems, and willingness to travel to local centers; flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
