Job Summary
The Care Promoter 1 is an unlicensed medical professional cross-trained to perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to keep medical centers running smoothly, operating under direct physician supervision within a physician-led care team. Responsibilities include measuring and recording patient vital signs, conducting patient interviews and documenting medical history, preparing patients for examinations, assisting with exams, collecting specimens, administering medications and first aid under supervision, maintaining supplies and documenting data accurately, handling patient communication and prescriptions routing, providing health coaching to a defined patient group, and following up with coached patients via weekly calls. The role requires collaboration with physicians, clinicians, nurses, and other staff, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationwide up to 10%, with flexibility to work weekends as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software is required, along with a compassionate approach to patient care and adherence to safety and ethical standards.
