Job Summary
Care Pro at McLeod Home Care provides non-medical home care to clients in South Carolina and Georgia. Responsibilities include personal care assistance (dressing, bathing, grooming), light housekeeping, meal and snack preparation, transportation and errands, monitoring client conditions, updating care notes, dementia and Alzheimer's care, companion care, and home safety inspections. The role demands following a client’s custom care plan and delivering compassionate, reliable support. Requirements include being 18+, having a high school diploma or GED, any state-mandated certification, passing a drug test and background check, 1–2+ years of adult personal care experience, and 1+ year of experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental illnesses, or challenging behaviors. A valid South Carolina driver’s license with current registration and insurance and a clean driving record if transporting clients are also required.
