Job Summary

Provide a wide range of care and support to service users with learning disabilities and/or mental health disorders, meeting assessed needs through goal setting and best practice. Act as a Keyworker by monitoring opportunities in support plans, maintaining outcome-focused records, and ensuring changes to care plans and risk assessments are communicated across the team. Work on a rota basis including days, evenings, sleepovers, and wakened nightshifts, with lone working possible. Apply for SSSC registration within three months of starting and complete required continuous professional learning.

Required Qualifications

  • SSSC registration within 3 months of start date
  • SSSC benchmark qualification (SVQ Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF level 7 or social services children and young people SCQF)
  • Ability to travel within Fife
  • 36 hours per week including days, evenings, sleepovers, wakened nightshifts and weekends
  • Lone working capability
  • Carry out all shift patterns on a rota basis
  • Days, evenings, weekends, sleepovers and wakened nightshifts availability
  • Goal setting objectives capability
  • Best practice adherence
  • Practice Standards adherence
  • Keyworker role capability
  • Monitoring and ensuring service user opportunities, experience, care and support identified in support plan
