Job Summary
Care Partners provide non-emergency medical transportation using their own insured vehicle, transporting members to healthcare appointments and other essential destinations with door-to-door or curb-to-curb service. Responsibilities include communicating with dispatch, following trip instructions, maintaining vehicle safety/compliance, accommodating mobility assistance, and staying flexible with trip changes. Requirements include a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, an insured vehicle (2010+), ability to pass background checks and vehicle inspection, and strong communication and service skills. The role emphasizes earning potential with no commissions taken on trips, and offers flexible scheduling including mornings, evenings, and weekends. Location noted: Bridgeport, WV, United States. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Open availability from 7:00 am-5:00 pm
- Reliable, insured vehicle (2010 or newer)
- Ability to pass background checks and applicable certification processes
- Ability to pass vehicle inspection
- Strong communication skills and a focus on providing excellent service to members
- Empathy, patience, and professionalism with members of varying needs
- Flexibility to accept trips on your own schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Prior experience in healthcare, transportation, or customer service (preferred)
- Familiarity with non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services (preferred)
- CPR or First Aid certification (a plus)
