Job Summary
Care Partner provides hands-on resident care and emotional support in the Terrace Club neighborhood, supporting residents and families through prompting, cueing, and reminders. Responsibilities include documenting in Daily Log, reviewing ISP/Leisure Assessments, implementing the Daily Program Calendar, assisting with daily journal entries, monitoring resident health and changes in condition, ensuring safety and compliance with Sunrise policies, communicating with families, maintaining sanitation and safety, and supporting dining, housekeeping, and program activities. The role requires aligning with Sunrise's Mission to champion quality of life for seniors, participating in team meetings, and upholding infection-control and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma / GED accepted and may be required per state/provincial regulations
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred and desire to serve and care for seniors
- New Jersey Only: Possess a C.N.A. or HHA certification for all new hires after 03/14/04
