Job Summary
Assist with the delivery of patient care and maintenance of unit environmental standards under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Support day-to-day patient care delivery, facilitate efficient and safe patient care and flow by following area standards, and serve as a liaison for communication and education of patient and family needs. Contribute to unit operations by maintaining supplies, equipment, and environmental standards. Role emphasizes teamwork, clinical competency in basic interventions (vital signs, documentation), environment of care, planning and organizing tasks, and a commitment to safety, quality, and patient experience. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and meet one of: enrollment in an RN program, graduation from a Nursing Assistant/Aide program in the past year, or at least one year of related care experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (Required) AND one of the following: Current enrollment in a professional nursing RN program with successful completion of the first semester (including nursing fundamentals clinical), or Graduation from a Nursing Assistant or Aide Training Program within the past year (certificate of completion required), or Minimum of one year of recent experience (within the past two years) as a care partner, nursing assistant, or patient care technician.
