Job Summary
Provide non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) using your personal insured vehicle as a Care Partner. Duties include transporting members to and from healthcare appointments, assisting with door-to-curb or curb-to-curb service, following dispatch instructions via the HQ Portal, maintaining vehicle safety/compliance, accommodating mobility/companion needs, and remaining flexible to updates in trip assignments. Requires a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, reliable insured vehicle (2010 or newer), ability to pass background checks and vehicle inspection, strong communication, and a customer-service mindset with empathy and professionalism. Availability from 7:00 am–5:00 pm, with potential early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Prior experience in healthcare, transportation, or customer service and CPR/First Aid certification are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable, insured vehicle that meets company standards
- Ability to pass background checks and applicable certification processes
- Ability to pass vehicle inspection
- Strong communication skills
- Empathy, patience, and professionalism
- Flexibility to accept trips including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Prior experience in healthcare, transportation, or customer service (preferred)
- CPR or First Aid certification (a plus but not required)
