Job Summary
Provide outstanding customer service to residents, family members, and visitors while assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, toileting, and hygiene. Collaborate with the Integrated Care Team to ensure excellence in care, manage continence, and support instrumental activities including meal preparation, housekeeping, and laundry. Administer medication as needed, accompany residents to medical appointments, and encourage participation in social and recreational programs. Maintain accurate records, including care logs and incident reports, while adhering to safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a Home Health Aide Certification Program approved by the New York State Department of Health
- High School diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Basic first aid and CPR certification
