Job Summary
Provide outstanding customer service to residents, family members, and visitors while assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility. Manage continence, instrumental activities including meal preparation and housekeeping, and support technology use and medication self-administration. Accompany residents to medical appointments, encourage participation in social activities, and maintain awareness of physical and mental health to report changes immediately. Complete all required records, including care logs, incident reports, and medication receipts, while following established protocols for accidents, emergency procedures, and Inspīr safety practices.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a Home Health Aide Certification Program approved by the New York State Department of Health
- High School diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Basic first aid and CPR certification
