Job Summary
Provide outstanding customer service to residents, family members, and visitors while assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, eating, toileting, and mobility. Collaborate with the Integrated Care Team to ensure excellence in resident care, manage continence and instrumental activities like meal preparation and laundry, and support self-administration of medication. Accurately complete care logs, incident reports, and medication receipts while maintaining resident records and following established safety protocols. Answer calls for assistance promptly and accompany residents to medical appointments as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a Home Health Aide Certification Program approved by the New York State Department of Health
- High School diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Basic first aid and CPR certification
