Job Summary
Care Partners assist residents with all activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care, including bathing, grooming, and feeding. They monitor vital signs, document changes, and maintain a safe environment. Responsibilities include cooking, cleaning, leading activities, and ensuring residents' comfort while complying with regulations regarding medication administration. Candidates should be willing to engage positively with residents and complete required training.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or greater
- Physically able to stand/walk for 8 to 12 hours
- Demonstrate a willingness to work with geriatric dementia residents
Desired Qualifications
- Med level 1, CMT or C.NA (must complete Med Level 1 class within 1 year)
- First aid Certified
- CPR Certified
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Positive work experience within a geriatric dementia environment
Additional Requirements
- Illegal drug free, smoke and alcohol free while on premises and duty
- Cell phone use is prohibited during working hours
- Stealing of any kind is strictly prohibited
