Job Summary
Care Partner (CNA/STNA) provides high quality, person-centered care to residents as part of an interdisciplinary team. The role supports residents in doing as much for themselves as possible, delivers confident and complete care per individual care plans, and maintains a friendly, caring approach with residents, families, and staff. The position is full-time, 7:00a–7:30p, 36 hours per week, at Kendal at Oberlin; responsibilities include recognizing residents’ abilities, promoting individuality, and delivering physical and psycho-social support in a memory care/assisted living environment. Requires completion of an approved nursing assistant program and Ohio state exam, valid Ohio STNA license in good standing, ability to bend/stoop/push/pull/lift/transfer residents weighing 50–250 pounds, effective communication with residents, and reliable commute or planned relocation prior to starting work.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an approved nursing assistant program and state of Ohio exam
- Must have a valid Ohio STNA license in good standing
- Must be able to bend, stoop, push, pull, lift, transfer residents weighing 50 to 250 pounds
- Must be capable of clearly communicating with residents
- Must be able to reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
