Care Partner - Cardiovascular Stepdown

Care Partner on the Cardiovascular Stepdown unit provides bedside patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse, and performs unit clerical duties to support nursing operations. Responsibilities include assisting with patient plans of care, monitoring and using equipment, supporting procedures, preparing rooms, coordinating unit activities and medical record tasks, placing and tracking orders, handling intake/output and vital signs, assisting with mobility, wound care, respiratory care, specimen collection, and ensuring safe, compassionate care while communicating with patients, families, and staff. The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to standards, documentation, safety practices, and contributing to service excellence on the nursing unit.
