Job Summary
Care Partner on 9N Surgical Stepdown Unit (FT Days, 6:45 am–7:15 pm, three 12-hour shifts). Assist with delivery of patient care and maintenance of unit environmental standards under supervision of a licensed nurse. Support day-to-day patient care, facilitate efficient and safe patient flow, and serve as liaison for patient and family education needs. Maintain supplies, equipment, and environmental standards; demonstrate clinical competencies; effective communication and teamwork; and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements while contributing to a high-quality, patient-centered care environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Current enrollment in a professional nursing RN program with successful completion of the first semester (including nursing fundamentals clinical) OR Graduation from a Nursing Assistant or Aide Training Program within the past year (certificate of completion required) OR Minimum of one year of recent experience (within the past two years) as a care partner, nursing assistant, or patient care technician.
