Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. Provide physical support for sitting, standing, walking, and post-fall assistance while frequently lifting items up to 50 pounds. Maintain accurate resident documentation using computer skills to print documents and enter information. Foster human connection and empathy during vulnerable moments to create an inclusive, positive environment. Work a rotating schedule of Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday or Monday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am.
Required Qualifications
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Love for residents
- Computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents
- Ability to stand, walk, bending, kneeling, and stoop all day
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
- Ability to assist persons after a fall
- Criminal clearance
