Job Summary
Conduct activities of daily living for residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. Assist with sitting, standing, walking, and post-fall recovery while lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds. Maintain computer skills to print documents and enter resident information. Work Wednesday shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am at Boulevard St Peters in Saint Peters, MO. Maintain a positive, energetic attitude and demonstrate empathy during vulnerable moments. Requires high school diploma, English proficiency, criminal clearance, and physical stamina for standing and bending.
Required Qualifications
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Love for residents
- Computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents
- Ability to stand, walk, bending, kneeling, and stoop all day
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
- Ability to assist persons after a fall
- Criminal clearance
