Job Summary
Conduct activities of daily living for residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and provide fall assistance. Create human connection during vulnerable moments while maintaining an inclusive, positive environment. Work a rotating schedule from 7:00am to 7:00pm, with shifts starting Thursday in Week 1 and Wednesday in Week 2. This part-time role at Cedar Trails requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Candidates must be 18+, have a high school diploma, and be criminally cleared.
Required Qualifications
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Love for residents
- Computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents
- Ability to stand, walk, bending, kneeling, and stoop all day
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
- Ability to assist persons after a fall
- Criminal clearance
