Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. Provide physical support for sitting, standing, walking, and post-fall assistance while lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds. Maintain accurate resident records using computer skills to print documents and enter information. Foster human connection and empathy during vulnerable moments to create an inclusive, positive environment. Work a 7am to 7pm shift rotating between Tuesday/Thursday/Friday and Tuesday/Saturday/Sunday schedules. Requires high school diploma, criminal clearance, and ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the day.
Required Qualifications
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Love for residents
- Computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents
- Ability to stand, walk, bending, kneeling, and stoop all day
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking
- Ability to assist persons after a fall
- Criminal clearance
