Job Summary
Position: Care Partner (6a-6p) at The Madison Senior Living in Kansas City, MO. Full-time role with shift schedule including Week 1: Mon/Sat/Sun; Week 2: Tue/Wed/Fri, 6:00am-6:00pm. Responsibilities include proactively supporting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care; foster an empathetic, inclusive environment; engage with residents; support personal development and training; assist with mobility and safety (including falls); and utilize basic computer skills to document information. The role emphasizes empathy, reliability, teamwork, and strong communication with residents. Required Qualifications
- At least eighteen (18) years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents
- Positive and energetic attitude toward residents
- Basic computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout shift
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist after a fall
- Criminal background cleared or ability to obtain clearance
