Job Summary

Respond to incoming calls for prospective patients, verify insurance benefits, and document preferences in the EMR while introducing them to the care program. Maintain communication with obstetrics patients through key milestones, including proactive outreach before, after, and following the third appointment, to support care plan development and resource connection. Provide additional high-touch support for patients facing social determinants of health or medical risks, and systematically collect feedback to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Engage postpartum patients per clinical protocols to connect them with relevant providers and resources.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a customer-facing role
  • Ideally in healthcare
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Knowledge of health insurance policies
  • Knowledge of copays
  • Knowledge of coinsurances
  • Knowledge of referrals
  • Knowledge of verifications of insurance

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with EMRs
