Job Summary
Complete needs assessments and coordinate services and referrals for HEALS program enrollees, assisting participants in implementing treatment plan goals. Support goal setting by providing skills, strengths, and resources for housing, childcare, transportation, and recovery-oriented activities. Document efforts meticulously and relay patient issues to the treatment team while attending project meetings. Assist with stakeholder outreach, psychoeducational groups, and program administrative support, including in-person and virtual work at UAMS and community sites such as jails and prisons.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Four (4) years of general experience in community outreach, education, case management, or administrative experience
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States
- Willingness to undertake in-state travel to community sites
- Flexibility, willingness to continue to learn, and a team-focused attitude
- Ability to interact and develop strong positive working relationships with a diverse group of professionals
- Criminal Background Check
- Substance Abuse Testing
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience in a behavioral health setting
