Job Summary
Under general supervision, authorize and review utilization of mental health and substance abuse services in inpatient and outpatient settings. Collect and analyze utilization data, monitor level of care for medical necessity, and perform concurrent reviews. Assist with discharge planning, provide telephone triage and crisis intervention, and develop discharge plans with providers. Propose alternative treatment plans when requests lack medical necessity and advocate for patient needs. Interact with Physician Advisors on clinical questions and participate in quality improvement projects involving data tracking. Requires Idaho licensure (CEAP, LCSW, LSW, LPC, RN, etc.) and minimum two years post-degree healthcare experience. Salary range $64,285–$102,855.
Required Qualifications
- Idaho licensure
- Current license that meets State, Commonwealth or customer-specific requirements
- One or more of the following licensure: CEAP, LCSW, LSW, LPC, LMSW, or RN
- Minimum 2 years experience post degree in healthcare, behavioral health, psychiatric and/or substance abuse health care setting
- Associate degree in Nursing
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work
- Master's degree in Social Work
- State and/or Compact State Licensure
