Care Manager ER RN Part-Time

Job Summary
Care Manager – ER RN collaborates with the emergency department team to assess admission criteria and determine appropriate status (inpatient, observation, or outpatient) using criteria such as MCG or InterQual; supports transitions of care, discharge planning, and ensures regulatory/documentation requirements for patients entering hospice or post-acute services. Performs coordination with ED clinicians, hospitalists, case managers, and social services to avoid unnecessary admissions and enable appropriate care placement. Requires RN licensure and BSN preferred with 1-3 years in acute care; part-time role in Naples, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required
- 1-3 years of experience in an acute care or hospital setting required
- 1-2 years of experience in care management or utilization review preferred
- BCLS - Basic Life Support preferred
