Job Summary
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and personal care as outlined in their care plans. Escort residents to meals and activities while ensuring they remain clean, safely groomed, and fed during shifts. Maintain resident safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality by documenting all services provided and immediately reporting any changes in condition to supervisors. Work full-time or part-time shifts including 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7pm rotations. Requires Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aid certification with preferred dementia experience.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant
- Certified Home Health Aid
- Knowledge and experience in working with the elderly population
- Ability to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell
- Must be available for 7am-3pm shifts
- Must be available for 3pm-11pm shifts
- Must be available for 11pm-7am shifts
- Must be able to assist residents with bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
- Must be able to escort residents to meals and activities
- Must be able to ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed, groomed, safe, and fed
- Must be able to document all services provided to assigned residents
- Must be able to report any change of condition in a resident immediately to supervisor
- Must be able to maintain the safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of all residents
