Job Summary
Provide administrative, non-clinical support for care management activities, including assessment and evaluation of member needs, guiding members and families to access care and wellness resources, and facilitating communication between members, families, and appropriate resources. Execute moderately complex operational tasks, make and receive calls across multiple digital platforms, educate members on available resources, ensure compliance with departmental policies and quality standards, and leverage Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and electronic medical records. Prior experience in call-center or high-volume customer service is preferred, along with bilingual abilities in Spanish, Arabic, or Chaldean Neo-Aramaic. Remote-from-MI eligibility, defined training schedule, and structured work hours are described in the posting, with travel possible for training or meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Reside in the state of Michigan
- 1+ year working experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- 1+ year administrative support experience in the healthcare industry or related setting
- Demonstrated understanding of member needs and the ability to navigate and use care and well-being resources to provide appropriate guidance
- Experience assisting customers through chat and email support
- Use a variety of electronic information applications and software programs including electronic medical records
- Excellent keyboard and web navigation skills
