Job Summary
Ensure the security and accountability of employees, residents, and visitors by supervising drug and alcohol testing, visitation, recreation, laundry, cleaning, and transportation services. Facilitate security support for other treatment programs and participate in facility activities that foster a safe environment conducive to treatment and rehabilitation goals. Maintain a safe and secure environment while managing resident accountability under direct supervision of the Care Management Supervisor. This role requires a valid Ohio Driver's License, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and the agency electronic medical record system. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of Substance Use Disorder treatment, crisis intervention techniques, and the ability to work independently. Hourly wages are determined by credentials and selected shift.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrates knowledge of Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment & recovery
- Demonstrates knowledge of consumer engagement
- Demonstrates knowledge of healthcare
- Demonstrates knowledge of social services
- Demonstrates knowledge of criminal justice systems
- Skills in effective written and oral communications
- Ability to orally give directions
- Ability to speak on the telephone
- Ability to read and write reports
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds as required
- Basic understanding of crisis intervention techniques
- Ability to work independently, without supervision
- Ability to use Microsoft Word
- Ability to use email
- Ability to use agency electronic medical record system
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least one (1) year of experience working cooperatively with others in a human service setting
Desired Qualifications
- Skill in the use of a personal computer and related office software
- Valid Ohio Driver's License
- Some training or experience in substance-related disorders
- CDCA
