Job Summary
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician (PM&R) focused on spine and pain management in an outpatient clinic setting. Lead development of an outpatient spine PMR program, work with spine surgeons to provide quick interventional care, perform spine injections, EMG/NCS as needed, and participate in weekly spine conferences. Full-time schedule with 3-4 clinic days per week and 1-2 procedure days; no hospital call. Fellowship-trained PM&R with ABPMR certification; proficient in interventional procedures and pharmacologic management of musculoskeletal/spinal conditions; comfortable managing cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine conditions; strong collaboration within a spine team of surgeons and APPs; opportunity for program growth, CME support, and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR) BC/BE certification
- Fellowship Training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is required
- New graduates from PM&R fellowships or PM&R Pain Management specialists are welcome to apply
- Comfortable in an outpatient setting
- Proficiency in interventional procedures and pharmacological management of musculoskeletal and spinal conditions
- Ability to manage cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine conditions
- Upper and lower extremity management
- Proficiency in therapeutic injections (e.g., acupuncture, Botox, ultrasound desirable)
- Ability to provide upper and lower extremity EMG and nerve conduction studies is a plus
