Job Summary
Care Management Associate (CMA) supports the ACC Case Management team with non-clinical care coordination and administrative functions to promote timely, effective member care. Works under Senior Managers to assist with care coordination activities, outbound/inbound member outreach, referrals, case tracking, and documentation in clinical systems (e.g., MedCompass, CEC). Facilitates communication between interdisciplinary care team members and external stakeholders; conducts non-clinical research to support care planning and escalates clinical concerns as appropriate. This is a 100% remote role, requiring a dedicated workspace; candidate must reside in CST/EST time zones. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare terminology, plus ability to manage multiple systems, are required. Anticipated hours: ~40 per week. Education: High School Diploma or GED required; preferred 2–4 years of healthcare experience and familiarity with care management processes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (REQUIRED)
- 1+ year(s) of customer service experience (healthcare environment preferred)
- Strong customer service and member engagement skills
- Strong organizational skills, including effective verbal and written communication
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and ability to navigate multiple systems
