Care / Endo Tech - Surgery Center

Care/Endoscopy Technician supports the perioperative team by preparing and maintaining instruments, equipment, and a sterile environment for gastroenterology procedures. Responsibilities include Preop and PACU setup, assembling charts with labels and data, collecting patient information, documenting vital signs and treatments in the EMR, performing Preop Interviews, assisting with advanced procedures (colonoscopies/endoscopies), specimen collection and preparation for pathology, sterilizing rooms and equipment, ensuring equipment function and safety, maintaining infection control, prioritizing tasks, and adhering to HIPAA and organizational values. The role expects HIPAA compliance and may involve other duties as assigned.
