Job Summary

Manage referrals for substance use and mental health services by conducting initial assessments, screening clients for admission criteria, and coordinating intake, discharge planning, and outreach. Utilize telehealth platforms for clinical screenings and counseling while documenting progress and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Tailor placement recommendations to individual client needs and cultural identity, participating in interdisciplinary treatment planning and crisis intervention. Maintain accurate records in the electronic health record system and link clients to internal and external resources. Requires a high school diploma or bachelor's degree with two years of direct client service experience, proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Zoom/Teams, and a valid driver's license.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma plus two years of direct client service experience in mental health or substance abuse
  • Bachelor's degree in a directly related field plus two years of direct client service experience in mental health or substance abuse
  • Master's degree in counseling or a directly related field with two years of direct client service experience in mental health or substance abuse
  • Licensed or pursuing licensure
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to move about treatment facility, both indoors and out
  • Ability to lift and carry 5 to 10 pounds
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows-based computers
  • Ability to document in an electronic health record system
  • Ability to use Zoom and Teams virtual platforms
  • Highly organized
  • Familiarity with Data Collection and Analysis
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must pass a level II background check
  • Must pass a drug screen
  • Must maintain current training as required by Operation PAR, Inc. policies
  • Must meet one of the following criteria: High School Diploma plus two years of direct client service experience in mental health or substance abuse

  • Master's degree in counseling or a directly related field with two years of direct client service experience in mental health or substance abuse, licensed or pursuing licensure preferred
  • MCAP, CAP, or CAC certification from the Florida Certification Board preferred
