Job Summary

Teach adults with serious mental illness life skills to achieve individual recovery goals using a strengths-based, recovery-focused approach. Connect clients to community resources and transport both self and others using a private vehicle. Maintain a professional demeanor while supporting clients in reaching their personal objectives within a nonprofit organization serving Central Indiana.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or a directly-related human service field from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education
  • Two (2) years directly related experience in past professional and/or nonprofessional roles
  • Valid driver's license
  • Current automobile insurance
  • Driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization
  • Ability to use private car to transport self and others
  • Drug screen
  • TB test
  • Extensive background checks (including Criminal History, Sex Offender Registry Search, State Central Registry Check, Education Verification, and Professional References)
