Job Summary
Coordinate patient care by serving as the liaison for medical services, streamlining physician communications, and scheduling procedures, diagnostic tests, and follow-up appointments. Manage administrative duties including obtaining authorizations, logging results, requesting medical records, and handling prescription refills. Confirm procedures with patients weekly, contact them with test results, reschedule appointments as needed, and check out patients with next-step instructions. Complete tasks from the Electronic Medical Record and review daily inbox items. Requires 2+ years in healthcare administration, medical terminology knowledge, and EPIC proficiency. Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends or evenings.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in healthcare administration roles
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
