Job Summary
Care Coordinator for Canada/US remote role at Wellthy. You will be the primary contact for families, helping them navigate healthcare tasks such as finding providers, managing appointments, insurance, and medical bills, and developing customized care plans. You will collaborate with team members across Wellthy, contribute to internal resources and guides, and help optimize the customer journey for members across Canada and the United States. The role emphasizes coordinating complex healthcare activities, advocating for families, and supporting continuous learning about emerging technologies. Requires a university degree in social work or a healthcare-related field (advanced degrees a plus), 5+ years in healthcare, fluency in French and English, strong ethics and confidentiality, and ability to navigate the healthcare system. The position is remote, with total rewards including salary in the range of $70k-$80k/year, and benefits such as PTO, health benefits, and parental leave. Location: remote, Canada-based. To work remotely, you must have a private, distraction-free space and secure internet.
Required Qualifications
- University Degree in Social Work or a healthcare-related profession and/or advanced degrees are a plus
- 5+ years work experience in a healthcare role (Social Work, Patient Advocacy, etc.)
- Fluency in French and English is a requirement
- Strong ethical standards and a respect for client confidentiality
- Ability to integrate and collaborate well with others while adapting to evolving service experiences
- Knowledge of and ability to navigate the healthcare sector
- Experience developing and facilitating care plans
- Providing ongoing, hands-on support for complex healthcare situations
- Experience creating high-touch customer journey experience
- More than one language is a plus
- Proficiency with macOS systems, GSuite, Slack, and 1Password
