Care Coordinator

Greet clients, schedule appointments, answer phones, and check insurance benefits via phone or online. Obtain prior-authorizations, collect payments, and manage office functions including copying, filing, and chart management. Work closely with the psychiatrist to review clinician availability for D&A and tele-counseling, then run case load reports and complete consumer surveys. Make and document reminder calls for assessors, psychiatrists, NPs, and therapists, while reviewing no-show reports to call and reschedule consumers. Create consumer profiles in Credible and check voice messages as needed. Must have prior medical billing experience and be able to reliably commute or relocate to Washington DC.
