Job Summary
Contract Physician (MD or NP) in-clinic role located in Thompson, MB. Responsible for employee health assessments, occupational injury/illness management, non-work-related injury care, surveillance and health monitoring, preventive care and counseling, documentation of patient encounters, and reporting work-related injuries. Collaborates with client management and TELUS team to improve health outcomes. Requires CPSM registration eligibility, advanced assessment, strong communication, and ability to coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration (or eligibility to register) as a Physician with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
- Advanced physical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills & relationship building skills
- Commitment to delivering the highest standard in patient care and client experience
- Ability to prioritize, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
