Job Summary
Assist residents in the Assisted Living Program with activities of daily living including medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and escort services while maintaining their dignity. Provide emotional and social support, document daily logs of assistance, and inform supervisors of any resident issues or concerns. Follow the schedule of resident needs set out by the supervisor and respect residents' confidentiality. Maintain a positive demeanor toward residents and co-workers while working as part of a team to handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently. Make independent decisions and solve practical problems in high-stress situations. Requires at least one year of senior care experience, CNA or CHHA license depending on the state, and basic computer skills.
